Fresh Tagliatelle with Pumpkin Seed & Basil Pesto. Made a pasta dough quickly before doing nursery pickup. Optimum resting time for the dough. As well as being ready to go once we got home. Pretty quick to knock up and relatively contained mess! Improvised using pumpkin seeds lightly toasted as we didn’t have anything else suitable. Worked pretty well. Would do again. Hard sheep cheese. Elephant garlic from @neetfield . Loads of basil and lemon juice. Chilli flakes on top for me. The rest of the cut pasta I put on a tray in the freezer. Once frozen I transfer to a container. Then just cook straight from the freezer, works a treat 🌶🧀🌿
