"I made so many wonderful connections on my trip to Costa Rica with a group of LGBTQ+ Travelers. We broke the ice at the welcome dinner by telling our coming-out stories. As queer people, we are all on different journeys; but are connected through the common thread of navigating our environments authentically. It was incredible hearing how different we all were, while still having so much in common with our struggles, insecurities and desires to be seen and accepted for who we truly are. 💖 At the farewell dinner, many Travelers opened up about how impactful it was letting our guards down to be ourselves, understood, accepted and uplifted by each other.
