All I think when I see this is; “HEATIN’ UP!” 🍻🔥 #iykyk
Just about 12 weeks between these two check ins! 🙃 it’s funny, when it comes to “dieting”, I always hear from people how; tired it makes you, how irritable you may be, that it’s not healthy, that you won’t be able to sleep, that it means you don’t love your body, that you will think about food all the time - but that really hasn’t been my personal experience so far.
YES! I’ve been hungry, that’s what being in a calorie deficit will do to ya! 🙃 BUT like anything else I try to focus on the positives I’ve been feeling (aside from getting leaner) and it’s been SO cool to observe!!
Here are some positives I’ve observed through dieting;
⭐️GRATITUDE; omggggg my gratitude for the simple things, ESPECIALLY healthy food from the earth has SKYROCKETED it’s almost overwhelming I swear
⭐️Connection to my body; I’m SO much more in tune with which foods I need at what time and exactly how they’ll make me feel 5 minutes after, 30 minutes after, and an hour after
⭐️Taste; since I’ve cut out pretty much all processed food, when I taste something now it’s NUTS I taste everything!!! The other day I ate a pear and was like HOLY F*CKING SHIT this is divine!!! Which of course dropped me right back into the Gratitude mentioned above
⭐️I’m no longer mindlessly snacking
⭐️My digestive system is not in overdrive
⭐️In some ways I have more mental clarity and direction because I’m not bogged down by over consumption
Will I eat like this forever? Hell f*cking no. And of course some days are hard - I’ve shared about those too!
BUT like all other events in my life I’ll choose to focus on the positives and learn from everything else 🥰 6 weeks left to realllyyyyy drop in y’all!
