Mindfulness and Meditation 101: What is mindfulness? Not replaying the past and not playing out the future in your mind. It is the act of total and complete presence. What is meditation? A practice that focuses on mind and body integration and leads to mindfulness. Where does it come from? Meditation has a history that goes back thousands of years, and many techniques began in Eastern traditions that should be honored and respected. How do I do it? Literally any way that feels right to you. However, it is a practice. Hence, it requires practice. I recommend beginning with a guided meditation to see what feels good to you.
