I’ve struggled for a long time with sharing my images. There’s a lot to be said on the power of a single photo, but try as I might, that method has never felt right for me. My images were always meant to be viewed as a whole. There’s a storytelling element in how I approach every session I’ve ever shot, where each photo introduces the next, and while I’m still experimenting in ways to best share this on Instagram, this is the closest yet I’ve come to transcribing what so clearly lives in my head. Happy to sprinkle these bits of goodness from Karynn + Philipp’s @westerbekeranch wedding out into the world today. All eyes were transfixed on these two as they combined their respective cultural traditions of polterabend and kintsugi – breaking and mending and celebrating both the crazy and new.
