Let’s talk about texture and lighting👇 Because these two pictures were taken when I had a full face of makeup on, with only a week between each other when my texture was at its most significant. And yet you can barely see any texture in the picture on the left; and it’s all because of lighting. The funny thing is, I remember both of these days so well because of how each picture made me feel at the time. I remember the picture on the right made me feel so down and self conscious because I thought everyone would see my texture and judge me for it. And then I remember what it was actually like, going out with my texture the way it was and realised that no one judged me for it, and no one noticed because in reality, it was just a picture and it was just the light shining on my skin in different ways. Your texture is normal. Don’t let some light in some pictures make you feel like you (and your texture) aren’t beautiful.
