The only thing slightly “scripted” thing about America’s Next Top Model was that they would force us to talk about our day to receive rewards. For example, we’d be having normal conversation about our lives, our families, whatever, and a producer would come in and say “if you guys gossip about the photoshoot today for 15 minutes, we’ll give you phone time” (meaning that we could call our loved ones back home if we talked about the photoshoot). They never told us to say anything verbatim. . Some contestants on my season think the producers picked me to win from the beginning because I constantly got “the best hair & makeup and the best outfits.” I personally think that we all had good outfits and bad outfits, it’s just all about how you werk them! I will say, my makeover was pretty special though. And I think that helped me stand out in the competition :)
