If you have worked in the restaurant business, you probably know that a good service is all about teamwork. The closer you work as a team the better the flow of the restaurant will be. However, there’s actually one group that is stronger than a team, and that’s a family.
I want to do a positive impact on my closest community with my Kettle One initiative. I’m doing this by arranging a brunch. Not for my colleagues, but for my colleague’s family. Because by getting our families to hang out, that will make me and my colleagues come closer to each other - on a new level.
My cocktail reuses scraps from the bar, like mint sprigs and ginger pulp. Ingredients that otherwise would be food-waste. This is both sustainable and economical.
