I, like many, have been feeling a little stuck creatively. So I decided to tap back into fashion, and do a capsule collection for the holidays called @expensivelyloved. It is based on a story of a mother who found her child arriving home from school crying and so she asked “Why are you crying love?” The child replied “Mommy the kids at school keep bullying me, and call me spoiled.” The mother looked at the child with reverence and replied “you’re not spoiled baby, you’re Expensively Loved...” To me this represents the love we have for family and friends and how we work so hard to convey that love through the gifts we give. In that spirit I was inspired to source beautiful vintage sweaters. I used an incredible wash process to make them super soft and feel like home.
