I've made a lot of BIG decisions in the last couple years - the decision to put my well-being above everything else, the decision to push myself outside my comfort zone and go after a role that puts me in the lime light where I share my vulnerabilities, and the decision to accept the uncertainty that comes with big change. Because with uncertainty comes opportunities that are no longer stifled by "solutions" that are forced on us by our expectations. I truly believe that progress, whether it be personal or professional, will always move fastest when fueled by the right intentions. I also know that my Cuban grandfather, who started a beauty brand called Seventeen in Cuba but sadly never made it to the US, is with me, enjoying every moment of his legacy being carried through every beauty event, every interview, and every win.
