The past few weeks I’ve been battling depression, knowing that I don’t love myself the way I should. Thoughts all over the place. Mood up and down. Then, when I saw everything going on in Florida, the chorus “Jesus, you can calm the water,” came to my mind. I thought about the story of how He told the raging storms to be still. And if he’s living inside of me, I can receive that same peace. Every day, I have to release it into His hands, trust Him, and know that He’s the only one that can calm the storm.
