Core beliefs are meanings we make of our world, others, ourselves, things, etc

They can be the drivers of our thoughts, feelings & behaviours.

1 reason you may have exhausted yourself to anxiety plus added fear is a core belief that sounds like

You may not consciously know that this is what you believe as core beleifs are not always speaking to you this specifically.
.
Instead you may notice thoughts like
I'll do it
I've got this
I can do it for you
Yes, I can (even thought I've got my own list of things)
I'm fine
.
Or behaviour that looks the same
Doing it for everyone
Putting your own needs, routines to the side to make it happen for someone else
Neglecting you
.
Afraid of what will happen if you don't, that they may never get it.
Sad, because with all your effort they are not changing
.
One reason you may have this core belief is that maybe as a child you saw people struggling, & in their struggle you felt certain human needs of your own were not able to be met. Maybe they were struggling so much they felt unsafe, in their behaviour, reactions, words, maybe it didn't feel stable.
.
Taking responsibility can be a way to cope in that environment, to survive in hopes that they will learn from you & then be able to bridge the gap of what you needed from them.

(Not a blame game but an awareness of why)

Only thing is, the chances are they won't change, not unless they want to & all your efforts are in vain. Now your tired, now you have developed a way to be, but do you want to be this way? This coping mechanism helped you then, to survive but now, does it help now? Or is it causing you anxiety, maybe you are in need.

Many peope come to coaching to heal, not just from the feelings of anxiety but of past events that seem present.

There are ways that you can meet your needs without going towards the people that cannot meet their own let alone yours, & ways you can let go, & make a change 4 your better present & future.
