Kalea is now 8 months old 🥹 and here’s a reset and update of her closet system. The last update was when she was a newborn where I shared her newborn closet system. These are @ikea trofast storage mounted inside the closet of Kalea’s bedroom. I took the doors out of the closet and replaced it with curtains. I decided not to use a dresser this time with my second child and just decided to use these trofast bins to put Kalea’s clothes. We had a dresser with Kamea (my first born) and after she became mobile and walking it didn’t become kid-friendly since the height was too tall and it wasn’t as safe for those just learning to open and close drawers. It wasn’t giving her the independence to choose what she can wear everyday. So it’s a no for me with a dresser for my newborn. I have to label each bin to make it easy for me and my husband to put away her clothes. After she grows out of this system that we have right now, we can use these trofast storage for something else. Like maybe a toy storage or for art storage and so on. I put away laundry in this video and updated the bins with new labels. I felt sad to take the newborn labels 🥺 Hope you have a wonderful night!
