Have not been posting much this last year ... but I’ve got so many great portraits to share with you now that #tiff22 has come and gone ... it was a much bigger and better turn out then last year and felt like we were finally back to where we were pre-covid as far as participation with the festival goes . I got to meet and photograph many amazing talented people again, some who have been on my wish list for a long time , with #TildaSwinton being at the top of that list! I’ve loved her ever since going to see #Orlando at the Carlton theatre in 1992 after listening to #siskelandebert sing the film’s ( and especially Tilda’s) praises. She has since gone on to become an intersectional icon of film , fashion and art . She pushes boundaries and was at the front lines of representation for #genderfluidity . Although she often gets to showcase her exquisite other worldly beauty , she is a cinematic chameleon , swapping age and gender roles throughout her career. She was at this years #tiff to promote the new film #TheEternalDaughter with long time collaborator and acclaimed director #JoannaHogg. She was warm , authentic , down to earth , funny and obviously brimming with confidence and flawless style . What an honor to get to take her portrait for this years @deadline studio .
