The only thing I had ever wanted in my high school career has finally come true. I’ve worked so hard for four years to earn the title of “state champion.” I’m honored to share this title with the Broken Arrow soccer program and the rest of my brothers on this team. It feels like it’s gone by so quick. In the wake of all the hard work, sacrifices, and chasing a state championship I never truly appreciated this program until now. I would never want to play for any other high school or with any other group of guys because “we’re just tougher.” We worked so hard for this title and we truly deserve it. I’m dreading leaving this group of guys and it’s been an honor playing alongside all of you. Although I am dreading leaving, I am satisfied that I am leaving with a state championship and above that, the relationships I have built with all these players.
