Life is crazy. One moment you’re holding your daddy’s hand, little legs trying to keep up, glancing at the skyscraper that is your favorite human, smiles and popsicles, laughs and swims, snuggles and bed time prayers. Then the next moment, you’re on a hike with your dad and your husband, you realize dads not next to you, he’s behind...just trying to keep up. You still snuggle, you just don’t quite fit the same, and this time you tuck your dad in and pray over him. God didn’t put us here with the big goal being money, cars, diamonds and trophies. Instead, it is to learn to see the beauty in love, in small moments, in friendship, in change. Life is short and my God is it so damn beautiful. Happy Father’s Day Dad, one of my favorite people on the planet. I am lucky to be your daughter and I’ll love you beyond this short time here on this floating rock in the middle of an endless galaxy.
