Our fiction this month is the bittersweet and beautifully balanced Sorrow and Bliss by Meg Mason - an often hilarious crawl-around in the brain of a woman re-evaluating her life through the lens of mental health issues. Genuinely unexplainable how good this is - just pick it up and read it and thank me later. Our non-fic is absolutely stunning - Storyland by @historia_prints is a journey through the myths of our little island, accompanied by the most beautiful prints (recreated faithfully here by the wonderful Lucrezia). Evocative to both mind and eyes, this is one to admire. Onto crime - this month a delve into the reluctant formation of a family legacy. The Khan by @ben_raf_remy follows Jia Khan after her crime syndicate father is found murdered and she is forced back to the streets of her youth to continue his legacy of violent justice. Taut and powerful!
