Just another day in the life of a woman at the gym. Maybe one day I’ll get an actual compliment that isn’t related to the way my body looks. I know this man probably meant this comment with the best of intentions but I have to admit I was quite disappointed. I would much rather hear “wow, you are so strong!” Or “you have great form”. I’m already the only woman in the gym area, so thank god I’ve been lifting long enough to not feel intimidated. But comments like this only make the space less inclusive for other women.
