Can we normalize keeping the same holiday decorations for years?? Or like, is that already normal for you? 🙃 I’ve never been the biggest fan of Christmas but over the last couple years I’ve found a few incredible gems second hand and had fun making my own decorations that I am excited to put up the same things year after year 🎄 But on the other side of the internet… people literally replace or add tons of new decorations every year. And you already knoooow how I feel about the environmental impact of that BUT ALSO, where’s the joy? The nostalgia? The memories?? Isn’t that the best part of decorations? 🕯️ Idk.. I remember decorations that my family members had when I was a kid and so many of them were handmade or passed down and over the years those have slowly disappeared for new thing plastic things and I don’t like iiiiiit.
