First “proper” Ironman distance open water swim this past Sunday! 🧜🏻‍♀️ Yes, I’ve done my fair share of disgustingly long pool swims in my club/college swim career days, but this was a new experience! Would have been 4th Overall Female, just 10-15 seconds behind 1st with a time of about 50:35, and with my very little swimming the last month before this, I’d say that was quite good! 🐠 The thing that threw me the most was swimming with so many other males! Obviously not used to much company like that in our own racing! But I had so much fun and a great learning experience for the future 😈 • 📸 @_brianllamas
