I never thought I had big arms until somebody told me they loved that I was unafraid to wear my arms out in public. And then I was like oh wow should I not be confident, are my arms big or is something wrong with them? I just thought they were functioning arms that did what they were supposed to do! Loving your body doesn’t mean you love it despite what it looks like but you love it because it’s simply a functioning part of your body! We don’t become confident because we love a part of our body society deems unlovable, but we love it simply because it exists and is a part of us. I’m leaning into body neutrality. My body is what it is and it’s beautiful for what it is! Don’t ask women how they are brave or confident enough to exist but rather just enjoy their confidence and hope it rubs off on you!
