Aaliyah Powell // GB Taekwondo ________________________ In 2019 she became the youngest ever GB athlete to win a world championship medal in her sport. She was 16 years old. Now recently turned 20, she’s since overcome major injury in the past years to return to the world stage. She’s fought her way back to the elite levels of her craft physically & mentally, beating many of the top ladies in the world already this year. This week she landed in Guadalajara, Mexico 🇲🇽 for the World Taekwondo Championships. Regardless of the outcome, a new journey has begun with major long-term goals in view.
