Oh, the places an XXL Scrunchie has taken me. What a trip! Who would have thought that by making one HUGE scrunchie as a Christmas gift, I would get flown to California to speak to a crowd of over 7000 people! I would have NEVER guessed it. An employee from @intuit and @quickbooks (who I now call a good friend, hi Jen!!) found me from one of my YouTube videos, and just like that — I ended up at my first ever speaking event. I will post the entire interview, or "fireside chat," as the team likes to call it, and share it on my YouTube when it's up! As someone who was SO fearful of public speaking and speeches growing up, this experience was not as nervewracking as I thought, and I think that's because I was talking about myself! Here is a little photo dump of my California adventure that I turned into a mini birthday vacation trip.
