This is my father Henry Joseph Cusick- I think he’s 18 here, just enlisted in the Royal Navy that would make it January 1941. He had previously tried to join the merchant navy at 16 but his big sister caught him and dragged him home - he never spoke much about the war, as a boy I pestered him but he gave little away. Thinking about him and all who served today - thank you and thanks dad x
