While the rest of the world was tripping out about how ugly the new BMW XM (aka Space Pig) is, yours truly was reading the stats and thinking 644 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque from a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 and a plug-in hybrid system is... pretty weak in the face of AMG’s new C63 S that makes 670 hp and 752 lb-ft of twist from a 2.0-liter turbo I-4 and a PHEV system.
