some favorite photos from receptions this year. I realized we don’t often share these moments here, perhaps we’re more drawn to share the soft light of sunset photos or ceremony moments. But I find myself lately really drawn to these more candid moments, the ones you can’t set up or control even if you try. A reception isn’t about a number either. Sometimes it’s a table for two set by a remote alpine lake, or a private dining room at a resort, or champagne on the hood of the jeep. Sometimes it’s a tiny lil cake just for two. Or drippy candles in the dark. Less control, less of a show, more fun times — that’s what we’re after. ✌🏻✨
