Sappho's works provided historians a rare view into the lives of queer women in ancient times, shaping the largely untold female LGBTQ history. Sappho walked. We flying! I'm honored to announce that I am now hosting and curating a MONTHLY SHOW that is intentionally a lesbian oriented, sapphic space! STARTING THIS FRIDAY!! Kick off @austinpride WEEKEND THE RIGHT WAY! Austin is DEFINITELY lacking in spaces like this so I'm happy to use my energy to raise visibility and bring us more together 🖤 Our Resident Muse @nicthecig will be our lyricist and poet each month! And we will have the beautiful @_tanyakarina_ as our very first special guest!! @djkimmyk on music And we will have stunning gogo performers each month! And we will have @agentmkultra this week! Every 3rd Friday of the month! Only at @harrysdarkbar ! We will use this space to create our own expression, may it be documented in history and be used to empower and uplift femme , nonbinary , stud, butch, intersex , fae lesbians everywhere. It is normally known as Girlz Night but I loosely use the term Girl bc not every lesbian is a girl. And every lesbian is welcome. As we learn more about ourselves and our history is important we give credit to those before us. And I will!
