Glitz and glamour aside it was Elizabeth Soffe @littlemisscheekypants this was about for me at @prideofbritain. I met her mum and her in the toilets and despite it being a hugely overwhelming experience for a 7-year-old, she just held her own. After suffering full body burns after a freak accident where an air conditioning unit caught fire in her room, Elizabeth’s final word of the night was: “please look to the inside of people. That’s where the beauty is.” While she wasn’t the only winner, she really just captured my heart. I will be doing a full post with all the winners tonight at 8pm.
