So proud of the community spirit of a bunch of surfers who battled the flooded rivers on dinghies and jet skis and travelled to isolated inland towns to firstly perform rescues then deliver food and water to stranded people. This crew of good samaritans were the first humans these survivors had seen since the floods enveloped them. These were to villages that did not hit the news, victims who were forgotten and these brave community spirited surfers found them and saved them. You unsung heroes deserve medals of honour. This is the true Aussie spirit of a helping hand, charity and a driven human spirit. So proud of you all💪🏽😇😎🌈
