Cosmic Hide & Seek Life is a game of cosmic hide and seek HERE I AM! Where am I? Who am I? There I am! Wait that’s not me. Look what I did! That must be mine, but it’s not me? Who could it be? Everyone one around me is clapping They’re saying I’m proud of you G! Look at what you did! Look at who you are! Ahhh, maybe you are right, I have come this far.. See.. I’ve always wanted to be someone. To be honest, I just wanted to be liked. And the things I am doing.. Well they surely make me feel right! You become what you think about most of the time, Yet even the thoughts I think I cannot claim as mine. This is life’s way of reminding you, You’re not who you think you are So is this me? Or am I something much deeper? There more I tune in, The more I see I’m not what I do. I’m something much freer You’re something much freer See when I get still, And it gets reallllyyy quiet I disappear. Where did “I” go. Ahh there I am! I’m back! It’s me!? No no no. Hold on a minute. If you can just disappear, where did you go? Are you even real? Do you even known? The deeper you go, the more you see. The more you see, the more you’re free. Now this journey of becoming me, Is life’s big game, of cosmic hide and seek. ____ This was a poem I wrote the day after my podcast interview with @inqlife (which btw is out now, link in bio.) the conversation we had inspired me to get more into poetry & this was the first one that came thru and I shared it during my podcast launch party 🤍
