Stumbled upon this article in Vogue Business "How Gen Z Is Changing Beauty." Was stopped in my tracks by this image from @breadbeautysupply and had to share. I am obsessed with their imagery, packaging and product company name "Bread." GENIUS. It's about time beauty became more inclusive and less binary. "Beauty is in flux. The industry is being transformed by Generation Z’s enthusiasm for skincare products and sophisticated appreciation of ingredients — and their desire for brands that connect with them like friends." ~Annachiara Biondi Eden Palmer, VP of merchandising, global brand and 3rd party at Forma Brands, speaks of a seismic splintering in the sector. “There is no longer a single definition of beauty,” she says. "In the US, Gen Z is the most ethnically and racially diverse generation to date, so inclusion and diversity are “essential to who they are”, says Bliss of Y Pulse. Some 79 per cent of Gen Zs surveyed by Y Pulse agree that brands that create products for skin have a responsibility to represent all colours and tones. Definitions of inclusivity have also broadened, spanning race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, body size and disability. Gen Z shoppers expect brands and products to align with them by addressing these." ~Annachiara Biondi BRAVO, Gen Z! excerpts from @voguebusiness . . . . . . . . . #genz #entrepreneur #entrepreneurship #businessowner #entrepreneurlife #marketing #businesswoman #instabeauty #skincare #blackownedbusiness #blackowned #tresbellespa #brooklynspa #brooklynfacials #vogue #voguebusiness #fashion #beautytips #skincaretips #luxuryskincareproducts #boerumhill #brooklyngirls #parkslope #brooklynbeauty #hairoil #haircare #womenownedbusinesses #womensupportingwomen
