Exactly one year ago, today, I wouldn’t have imagined launching our own production company. But also, one year ago today, I wouldn’t have imagined that I would discover another part of you through traveling the country meeting mothers who share the same pain, all while you lift them up. In traveling the country to give space for over twenty-five voices to uncover their daunting truths, we acknowledged that there are still millions untold...2.3 million to be exact. From this Mother-Son duo, here is our way of changing that— Unheard Productions. Our very own production company aiming to amplify the voices of those marginalized through mass incarceration and those killed through police brutality.
