My boys just left for a trip with their dad, and I’m excited for them! I also miss them so much already. This evening, when I finished work, I walked into our quiet kitchen and saw their two half-full water glasses on the counter, and the scene was so recent and intimate, I almost burst into tears. These longer breaks are a hard part of co-parenting, I find. To focus on the bright side (aka solo free time), I met friends for dinner and now will call Freddie and watch the new Megan Stalter show.
