Supporting someone else’s success won’t disrupt your own. In fact it may help it. Read it again. This whole idea of community over competition kind of gives a false impression that competition is “bad”. What if I told you your perspective of competition is actually keeping you stuck? And rather competition is an opportunity for you to not only strengthen yourself but also lift the people around you. Think about it 🧠 You’re inspired by someone around you, you can: A. Choose to work harder because their success lights a fire for you to do the same or B. Put them or their work down, judge, criticize etc. What if instead of judging or criticizing or putting competition down, we said thank you. And allowed it to level us up. You choose A? You work with more excitement and curiosity. With more motivation and inspiration. In turn, someone who’s inspired by you works the same way. We all rise. Is that not the best game of dominos 🍕? Remember a rising tide lifts all ships? Yeah that shit applies here too. I’m encouraging you right now to reach out to 5 people who inspire you in your space, whether its coaching, a similar business, a peer at a studio, and say thank you.
