The grass becomes greener and the air becomes fresher after reading midnight Library on @jeremiahberko ‘s recommendation. You start to appreciate the little things. The book is about Nora Seed who reduced her life experience to the negatives, soaking herself in a sea of depression and loneliness. She makes the decision to take her life. When she does, her subconscious transcends her into a midnight libary where she picks books of alternate lives/ parallel existences she could have had if she had made different, minute choices and she appears into those lives. She is dissatisfied with all the lives except one which she could easily achieve through her root life if only she paid closer attention to the things/ opportunities around her. The author, @mattzhaig makes the book easy to read with short chapters that contain each life but does not also fail to make every trip Nora took to a parallel universe plausible. I 100% recommend this book if you want to better appreciate the smaller, “barely noticeable” things in life that go on to make a huge difference if/ when absent. #books #bookreview #midnightlibrary #matthaig
