How it started ➡️ how it’s going 😌❤️‍🩹 It’s important for me to be honest about the mental battle that comes along with my “new” appearance following laser surgery. While my birthmark + skin are obviously far healthier, I LOVE my birthmark and it’s a big part of who I am. That being said, it will darken again with time. 🫶 The total healing time was around 12 days and the puffiness/swelling lasted until around day 5. I’m still waiting on my second bill so I’ll do a post on the total cost once I have that number (the first bill was $560 after insurancs, $3k before). I go back next month for potentially another surgery to ensure my skin is super healthy for the next year.
