I’m just a mom, standing in front of other moms, asking whether your kids have gone back to school yet and if not, are you okay? 🤪 We had such a great 90s-style summer ✨, but Emma and Lucy were dying to get back to their friends! And Mitch and I were, well, dying. 😂 After the first drop-off this morning, we went out for coffees and sat in an eerie silence, unsure of what to say. (Jokes.) Then we deep-cleaned the house, removed stickers and stickiness from strange things, and put dozens of miniature stuffed mice back in their freakin’ dollhouse. (Mousehouse?) And then we opened our inboxes and began approximately 7,963 email replies with “Apologies for the delay!” IYKYK 😉 The girls bounded out of school this afternoon gabbing a mile a minute about their awesome teachers, classrooms, specials and clubs. (And of course their friends!) Dinner on the deck together, family movie night 🥰 and lights out by 8 tonight... perhaps for everyone. 😉 Feels good to be back. ♥️ When do you go back?!
