🗻 'Errigal Airways’ ✈️ When out and about capturing my scenes I sometimes strike it lucky. However this kinda luck only happens to me once in a lifetime! I was casually standing on a sand dune on the Donegal shore with my camera on tripod and locked onto this scene with my zoom lens attached. I was aligning up these two cows with Errigal Mountain in the backdrop, which is a staggering 15km away from where I stood. I heard a distant plane approaching. Suddenly this large Aer Lingus aeroplane starts descending slowly towards me. It crossed my mind “I hope it flies into my set frame” but I never believed it would actually happen... then this happened! The plane flew straight in front of my composed scene & I captured this photo 😍 It proceeded to land at Donegal Airport in nearby Carrickfinn. Since capturing this photograph the Captain of this very flight Pilot Patrick Khan has contacted me admiring it, which I think is amazing as it adds even more to my very lucky moment in Donegal 💚
