Spicy Caprese Toast Sourdough topped with burrata, heirloom tomatoes with olive oil, salt, black pepper, red pepper and basil then finished with red pepper flakes, chili oil + fresh basil leaves as a garnish For the cherry heirloom tomatoes, quarter with a serrated knife to retain the form of the tomatoes then add freshly chopped basil, 2 pinches of salt, 1 pinch of black pepper, small pinch of red pepper flakes plus 1-2 tablespoons of of evoo then mix to combine and set aside to marinate Meanwhile, toast the sourdough bread with olive oil in a pre-heated skillet until golden on both sides ~2 minutes per side over medium heat then rub a piece of garlic on the bread to maximize the flavor Add one piece of burrata and spread over the bread, then add the marinated tomatoes, red pepper flakes, drizzle of chili oil + basil for garnish (can also add a drizzle of balsamic too) which is a great addition too!
