Today was the end of my planned radiation treatment. We planned it. We did it. It’s done. ☢️ Any treatment is precious - but this one has been cancer killing, pain erasing, (a)typically aggressive and immediate. It’s also been REALLY HARD WORK. SABR to the liver requires breath holds, and breath holds are hard - particularly when you’re short two lobes of lung. Sometimes it pays to take a step back. And out. And look at what you have done. So here we are a few years ago, one of us looking like a baby and the other of us looking super sick.
