27 was hands down my FAVORITE year of life. It makes me emo lol. I moved into my dream apartment, grew a team of people I love and look up to, hired my first ever full time employee, launched a business I am SO fcking proud of, created a community of powerful women who are rooted in confidence and support, fell more in love with my relationship, friendships as well as myself. It’s the year I discovered how powerful I am when I lean in to who I TRULY am. I’m noticing that adulthood just brings on situations that either challenge or confirm who you are at your core. And what I noticed this past year is when I am AUTHENTICALLY myself, it’s so freeing. I’ve always seen people write these profound messages of lessons they have learned and I never really have had lessons I thought were worth sharing. But I finally have LEARNED SOME GOLD THIS YEAR. Something I take to heart - there is no “perfect way” “perfect body” or “perfect person” but there’s a lot of individual things about myself, my body, and my character that I consider perfectly crafted. Secondly, kindness always wins. Im sorry it does. That piece of my Texas self will never change. My favorite, finding a career that makes you love life is a treasure that I genuinely hope everyone finds. Im more passionate about my work and more excited about my personal life than I’ve ever been. They both influence eachother. And lastly, the only thing that matters in this world is your health and your relationships. Family, friends, spirituality. Community is EVERYTHING. Being present is everything. Telling people you love them is EVERYTHING. Ok - anyways. 28 is the year of ABUNDANCE, PASSION, BOUNDARIES AND RESILIENCE. I cant wait to see what’s to come ✨
