Functional Kitchen in action! Ours was her 1st birthday gift from her godmother. It’s the @ikea duktig play kitchen without the top part, without the play stove and without the the play faucet. I found the second kitchen next to it at ikea’s discounted corner so I went and bought it. Then over time, I added and changed a couple of things to match her needs. It’s a functional kitchen with a water pump that acts as her faucet. I reset it at night and put new water and dump the old water. The mini fridge works too so she can have access to fruit of the day or her whole milk. It’s very warming to see her progress from when she was a year old to now that she is 2! (turning 3 years old next month) Just wanted to say that kids are capable if given the opportunity. It may not look like they’re doing it right the way you’d like them to do it but their mind is absorbing all of the spills, mess and failure.
