State Track 2024🧡 This year’s meet did not go how I wanted at all. My first goal was to throw a school record in shot put and make finals but I ended up having one of the worst days of throwing in my career. For discus, my first 2 throws were outside the sector lines but in PR territory so for my 3rd throw, I just tried to keep it in. I ended up throwing the second best throw of my lifetime but found out later that one of my scratched throws would have also been a school record... (peep the participation medal💀) I really want to say there’s always next year where I can get to finals at state but there isn’t a next year. I am glad my high school career ended at state. That being said, my days of competing in track and field are not over though. I am so glad to be throwing at SMSU next year!! This chapter of my life is coming to an end but a new one is just starting! #rollstangs 🐴🤎🤍
