Today in Cheap Trick history: 28 Aug – (1999) The 25th anniversary “Silver” show took place at Davis Landing, Rockford, Illinois, with the hometown celebration drawing an estimated 15,000 enthusiastic Cheap Trick fans. The DVD and the double CD, both featuring the entire performance, were released in the US in 2001.
