This past weekend I had the absolute pleasure of going to Tokyo with @acnestudios for their incredible collaboration with @larry_stanton_art Larry was an amazing queer multi-media artist who we unfortunately lost in the 80’s to AIDs. I’ve been thinking a lot the past week about the members of our queer family we have lost over the years for absolutely no justifiable reason. Artists, performers, designers, scholars, human beings with such amazing hearts and minds just vanish in the blink of an eye at the hands of people who aren’t even worth mentioning. On the other hand, I’ve also been thinking a lot about our perseverance throughout history. How we as a community have the innate ability to get back up and keep pushing harder, louder, and with more fire. With the force of our chosen family and Allies behind us, we will always be able to carry on to tomorrow. Love you all🧡
