In another lifetime I wouldn’t have hesitated to post these photos. I’ve sat on these for days debating whether or not to post - feeling oddly embarrassed. Probably because it’s been a been years since I modeled professionally or attached my identify to my physicality (no tea no shade, I love looking at beautiful people). I’ve been on such an evolution over the last 5 years. Getting pregnant in 2020 and being isolated for the entirety of my pregnancy, becoming a mother, finding my voice to speak publicly as an activist... I guess this is my long winded way of saying that I’ve realized we don’t need to leave behind the past versions of ourselves unless we want to. All of the people I’ve been have lead me to be the person I’ve become and that’s worth embracing 🫂 just because I can model in a bikini or tell you everything you could ever want to know about skincare or recap every single season of 90 Day Fiancé ever filmed doesn’t mean that my political take is any less relevant or my advocating for human rights is any less meaningful. We contain multitudes and I’m proud to embrace mine.
