The last two weeks have been an absolute whirlwind! Our baby boy arrived 2 weeks and 2 days ago!! After carrying him for 40 weeks and 3 days, Caden Joseph Carter was born March 14th at 8:38AM weighing 8lbs and 21 inches long! During a quick labor and delivery I spiked a fever which resulted in an extended hospital stay. Shortly after getting home I developed a headache that would not go away and I ended up having postpartum preeclampsia which resulted in a second hospital stay. Once I finally made it back home and thought we would finally be getting settled into life with two little ones, our furnace died causing us to be displaced from our home again! Things don’t always go as planned, but thanking God for my amazing husband and our Village who stepped in to make sure I had support in the hospital and that Chloe’s routine didn’t miss a beat!
