::trigger warning: long emotional post:: Wow. What a night! I will always remember my first awards show experience and it was truly everything I thought it would be and more. Everything leading up to last night was equally amazing. I know I have amazing friends and family but the support and love was just unlike anything I’ve ever experienced 🤩Thank you to all of my friends and family that were blowing up my phone all night and an extra special thank you to Justin for making sure everything went smoothly and as perfect as it could yesterday 🥹 I wasn’t at all nervous leading up to the show because being nominated alone was THE experience of a lifetime; however, when they announced our category, it was unlike anything I’ve ever felt. I thought my heart was literally going to explode right out of my chest and they were going to have to stop the show and wheel me out! I remember thinking if that presenter didn’t hurry it along, I was going to have a legit heart attack right then and there. @davidwilliamsmakeup team from Pam and Tommy deservedly won our category and a huge congrats to that team that put in all of their hard work! I will forever be grateful for this experience with the only team comprised of all Atlanta locals that made it all the way to LA for our Emmy nomination 🤩 Congrats ARE in order for the awards Stranger Things did take home last night; including Most Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup with our very own @ericgarciafx and @nix_artistry on @barriegower and @dunxjar team. They were up against some TOUGH competition amongst many Academy Award winning artists and they brought home that Emmy! All-in-all, that first Emmy nomination was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I took in every moment just as I wanted and will remember it forever thanks to the most amazing people in my life ❤️ Amy, Jan, Lisa, Devin, Rocco, Natalie looked absolutely stunning last night and I only wished Benji was there to share the moment!
