This week in New York was nothing short of extraordinary. 🇺🇳💙 I had the privilege of attending the CERF @ 20 Reception hosted by the Permanent Mission of Ireland @irishmissionun on Monday, followed by A Day with the @unitednations Humanitarian Office - a behind-the-scenes look at how the UN responds when crisis hits, and how humanitarian action saves lives every single day. From hearing from @tomfletcher1874, the UN’s Humanitarian Chief, to learning from Joyce Msuya, Deputy Humanitarian Chief, to listening to Secretary-General António Guterres, every moment was a reminder of what global compassion in action truly looks like ✨ Huge thank you to @un_ocha for opening the doors to the work happening behind the scenes - the coordination, the urgency, the humanity. Grateful to have been included alongside so many inspiring voices and advocates. I used to live around the corner from the UN when I first moved to New York and walking past it was part of my morning walks, to walk inside the doors of the HQ today was magical. A full circle moment!
