Rice harvesting is a back-breaking, but essential, labor led by women farmers. Rice provides over half of the world’s population with 60% of their daily calories. @lotusfoods is transforming how rice is grown around the world. Their small-scale farmers in India use a regenerative organic, no-till System of Rice Intensification (SRI) method that they call More Crop Per Drop®. Importantly, More Crop Per Drop® allows farmers to weed fields faster and in an upright position, rather than bent over for hours at a time.
